Angeline Quinto To Wed With Non-Showbiz Beau Nonrev Daquina In April

Angeline and Nonrev are both devotees of the black Nazarene!

Singer-actress Angeline Quinto is set to exchange lifetime vows with non-showbiz boyfriend Nonrev Daquina at Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno on April 25, 2024.

The wedding set to take place at the famous church in Quiapo holds meaning for Angeline—particularly on her faith as a devout believer of the black Nazarene. Just like the singer, her fiance Nonrev is also a devotee of the black Nazarene.

Angeline’s religious inclination for the black Nazarene started when she was 7—now more evident especially during the annual grand procession called Translacion held every 9th of January.

Other details of the wedding are yet to be announced, including the sponsors and the overall entourage which might be composed of Angeline’s colleagues in the music and entertainment industry.

Angeline and Nonrev had their firstborn Sylvio on April 27, 2022—just months before the two of them publicized their engagement in September 2022.

Angeline Quinto and Nonrev Daquina’s faith

The wedding might be deemed more meaningful for Angeline, especially now that she missed the procession last January 9, 2024.

The latest parade marks the Translacion’s return following a three-year hiatus brought about by the coronavirus pandemic. However, Angeline missed the anticipated procession since the figure was immediately returned to the church.

But despite that, the singer bares in an interview with TV Patrol that she is still happy to share her faith with her boyfriend.

As she puts it, “Kasi si Non dahil laking Sampaloc rin siya so buong family niya devotee rin ng Nazareno at ayun naman rin yung isa sa kinagulat ko. Natutuwa ako na pareho pala kami ng devotion.”

Angeline is one among the many celebrities who are devoted to the Black Nazarene. The list includes Kiray Celis, Coco Martin, and McCoy de Leon, who were all present during this year’s procession.
