Arci warns netizens to stay vigilant and mindful of their belongings during flights
Actress Arci Muñoz recently took to TikTok to share how her credit card was stolen on her flight home to Manila from Japan.
In her TikTok video published recently, she narrated, “I was resting in my cubicle and of course, when it’s time to land, siyempre, nagising ako, naalimpungatan ako.
“May lalaking nakatayo sa cubicle ko, tapos kinukuha niya ‘yung magazine sa cubicle ko knowing that all cubicles in the business class section have magazines, ‘di ba?”

According to her story, a fellow passenger approached Arci to ask about the man, revealing that he had touched Arci’s bag.
She continues, “She was like, asking me, ‘Do you know that guy?’ And I was like, ‘No,'”
Arci noticed her bag on the floor near the aisle, though she had been seated by the window. When the woman and Arci brought the matter to a flight attendant, the man denied their claims.

“Dine-deny niya,” Arci shared. “And this guy is nakaayos. Nakaporma, nakagarbo, naka-luxury items. So I was thinking, ‘Ano ‘to? Modus ba nila?’ Sumasakay sila ng business class, they fly, and then, so at first, I didn’t notice that something was missing in my bag kasi compiled lahat ng cards ko, e.”
Two days after the incident, Arci’s bank notified her of unauthorized credit card transactions in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, and Jakarta, Indonesia, prompting swift action to block the transactions.
“Be careful of your things.”
Arci also shared her harrowing experience to warn fellow travelers about potential dangers, emphasizing the need for vigilance. She urged people to be cautious and mindful of their belongings, highlighting that there are modus operandi even on airplanes.

“I’m doing this video to warn you that there is a dangerous world out there,” Arci shared. “And you can’t really be safe, so you have to be alert, you have to be careful of your things, mindful of your things.”
“May mga modus na sa eroplano, okay,” she added. “The world is not a safe place. It’s just really weird. Akala ko sa movie lang nangyayari ito.”
Arci has already informed the airline about the issue, which assured her that an investigation into the incident was underway.
