Bianca dispels malicious allegations of her involvement with Rob
Bianca Manalo has finally broken her silence on Instagram amid allegations that she’s having an affair with “Magandang Dilag” co-star Rob Gomez.
Bianca, together with Rob and their other co-star, Herlene Budol, made buzz on Wednesday, December 20 after their alleged private conversation was published without permission on the actor’s Instagram account.
One of the screenshots in question refer to Bianca’s messages to Rob—one of which shows Bianca asking Rob on Telegram if he can drop by the beauty queen’s place at 7:00 a.m.
Bianca Manalo speaks up amid controversy
Two days after the leakage, Bianca posted an official statement on her Instagram account to claim that her relationship with Rob was nothing but platonic.
More so, she emphasized that the unpermitted exposure of their conversations to the general public was upsetting, as she was heavily bashed since.
Her statement reads, “Let me clear all the false rumors circulating on the internet.
“Rob Gomez and I are friends and co-workers. He was going to bring Christmas gifts and I wanted to receive them early before I leave for the airport.
“It is upsetting that our conversations were exposed without my consent, which is a breach of privacy and the cause of so much online bashing. It is obvious that parts of our conversation were deleted to create malicious insinuations.
“To be honest, this unfounded accusation is hurting me and my loved ones. Let this controversy end so I can enjoy the rest of my time in Japan with my family.
“Let us spread love and the truth this holiday season. Merry Christmas, everyone.”
Other involved parties, Rob and Herlene, have already issued their separate statements regarding the issue. Herlene has taken her sentiments to Twitter, while Rob issued an official statement via PEP.ph.
