Herlene asks why is she being dragged into the issue?
“Magandang Dilag” lead star Herlene Budol has taken to X (formerly Twitter) her sentiments about the new controversy she is facing with co-star Rob Gomez.

On Wednesday, December 20, Herlene, together with “Magandang Dilag” co-stars Rob and Bianca Manalo, made buzz across the internet over an unpermitted publication of their alleged private conversations through Rob’s Instagram account.
On top of the exchanges, photos of pregnancy test kits—insinuated to be Herlene’s—were exposed to the public.
As the conversations easily trended and reached all sides of the internet, Herlene could not help but cry foul over the allegations hurled at her.
On X, Herlene drops a series of tweets that seemingly dispel her alleged involvement with Rob.
Herlene writes, “Bakit ako nakaladkad?” It was then followed by a longer tweet about how pregnancy rumors always surface whenever she has projects in the works.
She says (published as is), “Showbiz nga talaga! Pag dedicated ka sa trabaho, gagawan ka ng issue!
“Dati asa #wowowin gumawa ng issue na buntis daw ako. Ngayon naman sa #MagandangDilag may issue uli na buntis ako uli?
“Ano susunod? Sa #BlackRider mabubuntis ako uli?”
Rob Gomez releases statement amid issue with Herlene Budol
In the heat of the controversy, involved celebrity Rob Gomez has also issued an official statement through entertainment website PEP.ph.

Rob claims to have lost his phone and testifies that it was used against his will in the early hours of Wednesday, December 20.
Part of his statement reads, “Please be advised that my phone was taken and used it without my consent on December 20, 2023 from 12:30 a.m. to 4. p.m.
“Worse is that the person who took my phone posted pictures of mine in my own social media account pretending that I posted it with the intention of destroying my reputation.”
While Rob did not name the culprit, netizens were quick to link the conversation leaks to his estranged girlfriend Shaila Rebortera.
Rob and Shaila’s feud first made rounds in August 2023 after the actor outright confirmation in one of the episodes of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.”
Rob’s revelation did not sit well with Shaila, which prompted her to expose the real struggle behind her relationship with the live-in partner.
