Jisoo is the first and only BLACKPINK member who is in a public relationship
In a recent report from a South Korean news portal Soompi, Jisoo and Bo-hyun’s agencies made the decision to publicize the relationship following photographs of the actor at the singer’s place in Yongsan, South Korea.
Bo-hyun’s agency FN Entertainment issued a statement through CNN, bearing officially that “the two are in a stage where they are getting to know each other slowly with good feelings.”
The statement adds: “We would appreciate it if you could watch the couple with a warm gaze.”
Jisoo’s agency, on the other hand, confirmed the news via SoKor news outlet Yonhap.
The agency announces: “They are currently in the phase of acquainting themselves with each other. We would appreciate it if you extend warm support and understanding.”
Rumors of Jisoo and Bo-hyun’s romance first made headlines after Korean entertainment website Dispatch released a series of photos of them together.
With the outright confirmation, Jisoo stands as the only member of BLACKPINK—an international performing quartet— who is currently in a relationship. Its other members are Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé.
Before their romance confirmation
Jisoo has been part of the group since 2016, continuously dominating the world as they gear towards Los Angeles for the international leg of the “Born Pink” tour on August 26.
On top of this, she also had her solo debut with the album “Me” earlier in March, with her single “Flower” as the banner release.
The 28-year-old singer is also an actress, initially appearing in a cameo role for the 2015 series “The Producers.” Six years later, she met another acting milestone as she bannered the 2021 drama “Snowdrop.”
Bo-hyun, on the other hand, is a household name in Korean dramas.
Some of his notable projects include “Descendants of the Sun” (2016), “Itaewon Class” (2020), and “Yumi’s Cells” (2021). Before his acting breakthrough, he first pursued modeling in 2007.
