BTS’ Jungkook is gearing up for a solo album debut this November with “GOLDEN.”
Big Hit Music officially announced that Jungkook’s solo debut album, “GOLDEN,” is scheduled for release on November 3 at 1 p.m. Korea time. This highly anticipated album will include 11 tracks, including two singles: “Seven” featuring Latto and “3D” featuring Jack Harlow.
Describing the album’s inspiration, Big Hit Music stated, “GOLDEN is an album inspired by the golden moments of Jungkook, the golden maknae of BTS and a solo artist.”
The term “golden maknae” highlights Jungkook’s role as the youngest member of BTS, showcasing his extraordinary talents and versatility.
Jungkook’s debut single, “Seven,” made a significant impact by debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Korean actress Han So Hee starred in the song’s official music video.
In a previous interview with Variety, Jungkook explained why he chose “Seven” as his debut solo single, saying, “Upon hearing ‘Seven,’ I thought, ‘This is it.’ After that, I focused on practicing and recording the track multiple times to perfect it. I hope that many people can feel as I felt when I first heard the song.”
Regarding his collaboration with Latto on “Seven,” Jungkook shared, “We thought about who would be the best rapper for this summer song, and one of the producers recommended Latto. So, we reached out to her, and she gladly agreed to work together for ‘Seven.’
“I personally like her rapping voice, and I thought her voice adds another layer of liveliness.”
