Armys and Jungkook stans, mark your calendars because July 14 will be a big day!
After a long wait, BTS‘ Jungkook has finally pinned down a release date for his digital single “Seven.”
Jungkook of K-pop sensation BTS will release a solo single on July 14, 2023, his label Big Hit Music announced in a post on the WeVerse app last June 29, 2023.

Big Hit described “Seven” as “an invigorating summer song that is sure to have you experience the full breadth of Jungkook’s charm.”
“We hope that ‘Seven’ will bring your summer fun to the next level,” the company told fans.
“As Jungkook kicks off his official solo activities, we ask you to extend your utmost anticipation and support for his digital single and many other activities to come,” it added.
This makes Jungkook the sixth BTS member to put out a solo release after the K-pop sensation decided that its seven members would pause from group activities to focus on their individual careers.
Earlier in June, eager fans rejoiced after reports of Jungkook dropping a solo album in July began surfacing. At the time, Big Hit responded by saying the singer was working on his album but had yet to decide on a release date.
Although the BTS member has previously released solo songs of his own, this is the first time that he will be creating his solo album.
Big Hit on Han So-hee
Meanwhile, aside from the single’s release date, netizens also went abuzz over rumors that actress Han So-hee will be joining Jungkook in the single’s official music video.
Both Big Hit Music and So Hee’s agency has responded to reports of the actress starring in Jungkook’s upcoming solo music video.
On July 1, 2023, Korean news outlet OSEN reported that Han So-hee would be starring in the music video for Jungkook’s official solo debut track.
According to OSEN’s report, So-hee has already completed filming for the music video in Los Angeles before returning to Korea on June 22, 2023.
Later that July 1, 2023, morning, Big Hit Music and So-hee’s agency responded to the report by cautiously stating, “It is difficult to confirm whether Han So-hee will be appearing in BTS’s Jungkook’s solo music video.”
Today, July 13, a teaser was shown that Han So-hee is part of the music video, where they are portrayed as a fighting couple.
