Catriona Gray and Sam Milby’s talent management, Cornerstone Entertainment, confirmed that the couple are currently facing a rough patch in their relationship.
Cornerstone Entertainment issued a statement on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, stating that while Sam and Catriona are currently having some lapses in their relationship, both are willingly working on their issues.
The full statement reads, “We at Cornerstone, as the talent management agency representing artists Sam Milby and Catriona Gray, would like to address the recent rumors surrounding their relationship.
“While it is true that Sam and Catriona are currently facing some challenges in their relationship, they are actively working on resolving these issues together.
“We kindly request that everyone respect their privacy during this time as they navigate through this situation. We appreciate the concern and well-wishes from all those who have shown support for the couple.”
Catriona Gray and Sam Milby’s alleged breakup
Reports of Sam and Catriona’s romance first made waves in 2019. In the ensuing year, they then confirmed their relationship—with the actor proposing to the Miss Universe 2018 winner in February 2023.
However, in the latter part of 2023, some hints point to a possible trouble in paradise after eagle-eyed netizens observed that the beauty queen no longer wears her engagement ring.
The rumor was fueled more after Ogie Diaz said in a YouTube vlog that the couple have chosen to go on their separate ways over Sam’s change of heart about marriage. In the vlog, he also says that despite the split, they remain cordial with each other.
Amid rumor, Sam and Catriona were spotted together at Isabel Oli’s first-ever trade-launch gathering event held at BSK Club Manila in Taguig.
