Maine and Arjo’s forever culminated with a star-studded wedding
Actress-host Maine Mendoza and actor-politician Arjo Atayde tied the knot at Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel in Baguio City on Friday, July 28.
It is one of the most anticipated weddings of the year in showbiz this year.
Exactly a year after their engagement, the two finally committed to a life-long pledge of the holy matrimony, with some of their celebrity friends, network executives, and industry veterans as living witnesses to their love and promise.

With the ceremony kept as privately as possible, there’s only little disclosure of who attended, but one of the sure present ones was Arjo’s mother, veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez, who was accompanied by her husband Arturo Atayde.
This touching mother-son dance between Ms Sylvia and Arjo really hits a spot in my heart.

Power couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have also graced the event, as seen in a photograph with media couple Julius and Christine Bersola-Babao.
Another Kapamilya figure was Zanjoe Marudo, who is currently dating Arjo’s celebrity sister Ria Atayde. He was photographed with the rest of the attendees, including comedian Eric Nicolas and Ketchup Eusebio.

Moreover, Maine’s lineup of bridal entourage is no less than star-studded as she had showbiz personalities Sheena Halili, MJ Lastimosa, Maja Salvador, Ciara Sotto, and Kristine Hermosa as her bridesmaids.

Netizens have also admired the timeless beauty of Kristine.

Network executives, on the other hand, did not fall short of their presence, with ABS-CBN’s chief operating officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes and ABS-CBN President and Chief Executive Officer Carlo Katigbak dignifying the celebration with their attendance.

Other industry veterans, such as news anchor Korina Sanchez and talent manager Ogie Diaz, have stood as witnesses together with Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, veteran actresses Maricel Soriano and Helen Gamboa, and singer-songwriter Ice Seguerra.

Of course, the wedding could not be labeled complete without the presence of Maine’s “E.A.T” colleagues. Seen in a photograph were Allan K, Miles Ocampo, Wally Bayola, and Ryzza Mae Dizon who were all glammed up for the once-in-a-lifetime event.

Lastly, MYMP singer Juris Fernandez and Soul Siren Nina Girado both serenaded the groom and bride during the reception.

And now, the two finally sealed their vows last Friday, July 28, culminating in a wedding ceremony that took 11 years in the making.
