Maine Mendoza, 28, and Arjo Atayde, 28, are now married!
According to various news outlets, Maine and Arjo tied the knot in Baguio City this afternoon, July 28, 2023.
ABS-CBN News reported that the couple exchanged vows at the Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel.
They are also getting married exactly one year after they got engaged.
At press time, no photos have been uploaded on social media from the wedding.
A source told FreebieMNL that guests weren’t allowed to upload photos from the wedding today. Limited guests are also allowed at the church while the rest are invited at the reception that follows.
Meanwhile, PEP.ph reported that the couple opted to not receive gifts. Instead, Arjo and Maine will hold a donation drive for indigenous groups in Luzon.

July 28 seems to be a meaningful date for the couple.
It was on July 28, 2012 when Maine first expressed her admiration towards Arjo when she tweeted “Arjo Cutie.” At the time, Maine still wasn’t a celebrity.
This tweet resurfaced years later, with some fans called it “manifesting.”
On July 28, 2018, Maine and Arjo first met at the story conference of the movie “Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles.” The movie marked their first project together.
Earlier this month, Arjo’s family went to the family house of Maine to do the traditional pamamanhikan. Photos of the event were uploaded by Arjo’s mom, actress Sylvia Sanchez.

More recently, Sylvia hosted a bridal shower for Maine, officially welcoming her to their family.
