Dimples assures that “Neil is taking very good care” of Angel
Dimples Romana has fanned down the circulating rumor that her close friend Angel Locsin has already parted ways with husband Neil Arce.
In an ABS-CBN News report aired on Monday, April 15, 2024, Dimples says that Angel is enjoying married life—made more special by Neil who is very hands-on in taking care of the 38-year-old actress.
“I get to see her naman, she’s very, very happy and happily married, and Neil is taking very good care of her,” said Dimples.

On top of the assurance that the relationship is faring well, Dimples has also voiced out her sentiments about Angel’s hiatus from social media—and how it does not mean that the actress is having some serious relationship problems.
Dimples said, “The thing is, people are so involved with social media that we think if we don’t see married people posting online together, parang hiwalay na sila. No po. Hindi ibig sabihin wala sa social media doesn’t mean it’s not happening.”
Dimples even emphasized that time away from social media may do the relationship better than if it is constantly flexed online.
As she puts it, “Sometimes, a little off of social media can do you good. Kadalasan, sa social media pa galing yung frustrations mo, yung comparison mo with the life of others.
“And when you pause a little bit and know that not everything on social media can be helpful to you, you’ll be able to recognize that you too can have a happy life, like Neil and Angel na halos offline na sila but they’re very, very happy.”
While Dimples remains affirming of Angel’s social media rest, she still wishes that the actress will have her online comeback very soon. That’s because fans and showbiz followers have been anticipating her return.
Dimples said, “I can only wish that Angel will return because she’s super much-awaited all the time. I know that being offline and missing an act on social media has done very well.
“She’s so light-hearted and you just feel that she’s very, very happy so once na mag-decide siya at pinagdadasal natin ‘yun na malapit na ‘yun, I’m excited that I get to work with her but this time, we get to bond with each other, hindi lang sa personal but sa work.”
Angel tied the knot with Neil in a civil wedding on July 26, 2021 at the Taguig City Hall. The actress used to upload life updates on her social media until she stopped doing so in 2022.
