Kim Chiu: “Hindi man sa ngayon muna, but…”

Kim Chiu did not fret in saying she keeps herself open to falling in love again.

She talked about this during the media conference of “Linlang: The Teleserye Version” on January 15, 2024 at Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN.

Kim, together with leading man Paulo Avelino, attended the media conference via Zoom after testing positive for COVID-19.

In one part of the program, host MJ Felipe had to pick a question from a fish ball assigned to a cast member of “Linlang.”

It so happened that the question for Kim was something related to what she had been through recently.

She was asked by host MJ Felipe: “With everything that you’ve been through will you still try to fall in love again?”

Laughing, Kim’s reaction was: “Ano raw?

As MJ repeats the question, Kim is open enough to give a brief but telling answer if she is also ready to fall in love again.

Smiling, she says, “Ahm, oo naman. Hindi man sa ngayon muna, but hopefully in the next next months to come.”

MJ asks: “Ay, months lang?

Laughing, Kim instantly corrects herself: “Hindi! Years, years.”

MJ then asks Kim why she still believes in love.

According to Kim, there are a lot of people who are ready to give her some love.

She explains, “Kasi ang love naman, marami namang kayang magbigay ng love and willing naman akong tumanggap. Wow! Ha-ha-ha!

Basta, kasali sa buhay yon. So i-embrace natin lahat.

As MJ says he would no longer give a follow-up question, Kim says in jest, “Walang follow-up, yun lang yon!”

It is known to the public that Kim recently went through a heartbreak after she and Xian Lim announced their breakup in December 2023.
