Janno responds, “Shame on you”
Janno Gibbs, bereaved son of the late actor Ronaldo Valdez, clapped back at a netizen who questioned their family’s Japan trip following his father’s passing.

Weeks after the veteran actor died, Janno uploaded an Instagram photo on December 31, 2023, showing that the family, including the extended side of the clan, had taken a trip to Universal Studios in Japan.
The caption reads, “Happy New Year from The Gibbs and our extended fam.”
Shown in the photo are Janno’s wife Bing Loyzaga and their daughters Gabs and Chi Gibbs, with other close family members.
While they are all nothing but smiles in the photo, one netizen has pointed out that, “Your father just passed away.“
Janno, for his part, did not let it pass, as he confronted the uninvited commenter with, “I know. And?”
The netizen seems to be on a roll, as she hits back with, “Sadness does not seem to exist…not judging maybe behind each posts you’re all still crying inside.
Janno replies with, “You are judging. Shame on you.”
The netizen says sorry to Janno Gibbs
In a quick turn of events, the netizen has taken her words back and offered Janno apologies for her “insensitive” comments.
Her comment reads, “I truly apologize. Shame on me for my comments. I just lost my mother and you are all very right. I was wrong and we all grieve differently. And I am not part of the family and Janno does not owe me any.”
“Sorry, sorry and sorry. My comments were insensitive. Sorry again. God bless you all.
“I even prayed about it and really felt so bad about what I said. My apology may not be taken which I do understand but it taught me a lot. Peace [peace emoji].”
Prior to the heated exchange, Janno has initially expressed how great of a father Ronaldo was through an Instagram post. More so, he also posted a video of him and his Dad singing to the classic “Moon River” as an act of commemoration.

Janno is Ronaldo’s son with Maria Fe Gibbs. They have another child named Melissa Gibbs.
Ronaldo, 76 years old at the time of passing, was found dead by the Quezon City Police district in the afternoon of December 17, 2023.
