Are you ready for the Chef Joshua era?
Kapamilya star Joshua Garcia is taking his kitchen skills to the next level as he enrolls in a culinary class.
The actor, took to his Instagram stories to proudly share how he’s making good use of his time while not on the set. Joshua is attending culinary classes conducted by chef Gene Gonzales at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies Manila.
The chef himself lauded Joshua for persevering in class.
“Proud to handle the first day of our new student, Joshua Garcia… Great Stamina considering he did 2 days’ worth of lectures and lab work today,” Chef Gene said.
On his second day, the “Unbreak My Heart” star received another set of accolades from CACS’ Chef Gino Gonzalez.
“On his 2nd day, he cooked everything from scratch. His first time to cook a paella & it came out really well,” Chef Gino pointed out.
Joshua’s rumored romance with Emilienne Vigier
Recently, Joshua has made headlines for showcasing photos and videos of himself cooking a good variety of dishes for French-Filipino athlete Emilienne Vigier, who fondly refers to him as “my person.”

While confirmation of their romance remains elusive, the two have been giving hints about them spending time together on their respective social media accounts.
It may be recalled that Joshua recently earned good comments from netizens after the actor shared some of his homecooked dishes on his social media account.
Joshua joins the growing list of celebrities who have forayed into the kitchen and explored taking formal culinary classes.
The list includes Jodi Sta. Maria, Sarah Geronimo, Sofia Andres, Michael de Mesa, and Matteo Guidicelli, among others.
