It seems like Kaila is now ready to do a project with her parents!
Kapamilya actress Kaila Estrada is set to star alongside her father, John Estrada, in the upcoming film “Pilak.”
The upcoming film was announced on December 19. Aside from John, Kaila also gets to work with her sister, Inah De Belen, as well as Inah’s real-life boyfriend, Jake Vargas.
Kaila and Inah are both daughters of John and actress Janice de Belen.
The film, which is planned to hit theaters in July 2024, is directed by Elaine “Alex” Crisostomo, and will also feature Jackie Lou Blanco, Thea Tolentino, and Alma Concepcion, among others.
It will be the first time that Kaila will be working with her sister and father in one movie.

Prior to working with John in a film, Kaila previously said in an interview with Ogie Diaz that she’s not yet ready to work with both her parents.
She explained, “May ganung factor, parang nahihiya ako. Parang sa ngayon ay hindi ko po siya nai-imagine. Siguro kasi nahihiya akong magkamali sa harap nila. I think that’s part of it.”
She continued, “At saka siyempre, it’s a different environment, di ba? Magiging work environment ‘yon, so hindi ako sanay na kasama sila sa ganung environment. Pero someday, sana ay maka-work ko sila.“
Despite her hesitation, Kaila expressed hope for future collaboration with her parents, stating, “But someday, feeling ko, magiging masaya naman.”
