Star Magic A-list celebrity Kathryn Bernardo and Sparkle prime actor Alden Richards were spotted hanging out in a mall in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
The “Hello, Love, Again” leads made quite a stir on the internet on Sunday, May 26, 2024, after they were photographed on an escalator of a shopping center.
Both of them were wearing casual clothes; Kathryn was in a denim jacket and pants, while Alden was wearing black shirt and jeans. The two of them were also wearing a sports cap and a face mask on.
KathDen—as fans call them—are accompanied by Kathryn’s close friend Alora Sasam.

Prior to this, the on-screen tandem had already sparked dating speculation, after Alden surprised Kathryn during her post-birthday celebration organized by friends Boop Yap and Kim Yap.
Before that, Alden was also present at Kathryn’s 28th birthday party in El Nido, Palawan—wherein he serenaded the celebrant with his own rendition of “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang.”
PEP.ph recently reported from their source that Alden has been courting Kathryn.
Alden and Kathryn’s bond was made more evident by a clip from the recently concluded Filipino Academy of Movie Arts Sciences (FAMAS) awards night on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
As seen in a circulating video, Kathryn and Alden were sitting side by side. Kathryn—with her distant stare—was patted by Alden, which prompted the actress to smile and engage in a conversation.

Such a moment happened right before Kathryn was announced as the best actress for her role in Petersen Vargas’ “A Very Good Girl,” which she co-starred with Dolly De Leon.
Kathryn and Alden’s reunion film “Hello, Love, Again,” which is also a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster movie “Hello, Love, Goodbye” is slated for release in November 2024. It will be directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, with screenplay under the helm of Crystal Hazel San Miguel and Carmi Raymundo.
Kathryn Bernardo bags top acting award at FAMAS 2024
The 72nd edition of FAMAS came monumental for Kathryn after she bagged her first-ever best actress award from the award-giving body.
In her acceptance speech, Kathryn says that she accepted her role in “A Very Good Girl” not because of the potential merit but because she fully trusts the people she got to work with.
She says, “Nung tinanggap ko ang pelikulang ‘A Very Good Girl,’ hindi naman po ako nage-expect ng any awards or nominations. Tinanggap ko ang proyektong ito dahil naniwala ako sa materyal at nagtiwala ako sa mga kasama ko.
“Siguro, umaapaw lang po yung saya kasi nabigyan po ako ng pagkakataon na gumawa ng ganitong klaseng pelikula—at minahal at sinuportahan siya ng tao, so, maraming-maraming salamat po.”
“This movie ‘A Very Good Girl’ is a product of hard work, love, and passion. So, maraming salamat sa lahat ng sumuporta, sa lahat ng nagbigay ng oras, at sa lahat ng nagmahal sa pelikula namin.”

For the male category, Piolo Pascual and Alfred Vargas were both hailed as best actors. Piolo was awarded for his portrayal in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Mallari” directed by Roderick Cabrido, while Alfred gained recognition for his role in “Pieta” by Adolfo Alix Jr.
The best supporting actress award was handed to Gloria Diaz for “Mallari,” while the best supporting actor award went to LA Santos for his role in FM Reyes’ “In His Mother’s Eyes.”
Euwenn Mikael of “Firefly” bagged the best child actor award, while best child actress was handed to Elia Ilano for “Ghost Tales.”
