Kathryn Bernardo Receives Special Song Number From Alden Richards

Alden admits that he does not usually sing!

Kathryn Bernardo’s 28th birthday in El Nido, Palawan has witnessed many rare moments—one of which is a special song number rendered by her “Hello, Love, Goodbye” leading man, Alden Richards. 

Celebrating another leaf on March 26, 2024, the Kapamilya A-list celebrity threw a yacht party and intimate dinner attended by some of her closest friends.

Just some of those who attended was Alden who took the time to serenade Kathryn with “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang” with “Hello, Love, Goodbye” co-star Kakai Bautista. 

The video, uploaded by Star Magic road manager Arlie Salagantin, shows Alden singing with the comedian. A little shortly after the chorus, he can be heard saying, “Happy Birthday, Kath. Hindi ko ginagawa ‘to.” 

Aside from Alden and Kakai, they were also joined by other “Hello, Love, Goodbye” cast Lovely Abella and Maymay Entrata who also serenaded Kathryn with her hit song “Amakabogera” during the intimate dinner. 

The memorable birthday bash was attended by Kathryn’s closest friends in the industry such as Joshua Garcia and girlfriend Emilienne Vigier, Dominic Roque, Jericho Rosales, Robi Domingo, and wife Maiqui Pineda. 

The event was held at Isla Amara resort, which Kathryn co-owned with Piolo Pascual. Even Kathryn’s trusted glam team and fashion experts were present, such as Andrei Suleik, Arisse de Santos, Earl Semitara, and Mark Bumgarner. 

Aside from the party, Kathryn’s birthday party was made more memorable by greetings and fond messages from her friends—one of which is from Sofia Andres.

Kathryn has also received a short simple greeting from ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla—a polarized and pixelated photo of Kathryn with a Japanese phrase that directly translates to, “Happy Birthday to you.”
