“Mr. Pure Energy” is one joyful father as he announces his daughter’s engagement
Kiana Valenciano, the daughter of Gary Valenciano, is now engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend, Sandro.
Gary has taken to Instagram the announcement of his daughter’s engagement, as he looks forward to having a heartfelt conversation with his unica hija in private.
“Friends? Ladies and gentlemen? Brothers and sisters? My beautiful forever-princess’ ring says it all,” the caption begins, indicating that Kiana had accepted a proposal from a man who was only identified as Sandro.
“I love you @kianavee !!! Am so happy for you. So much I want to tell you Kiana…but I think I will save that for a day when you and I can just sit and talk….just you and I before the big day arrives and the wedding bells toll,” he adds.
“My heart tugs but not with sadness my dearest princess…but with the joy of the Lord for how He has orchestrated your life…and how He will continue to do so.”
Lastly, he mentions how happy he is to welcome Kiana’s beau, Sandro, to the family.
“I’m thankful for the young man the Lord allowed to find you. Love you too @senditdro … what a joy it is to have you in the V family.”
Fans, celebrities, and other industry figures, such as Ogie Alcasid, the Pangilinan sisters, Coleen Garcia, writer Darla Sauler, and Julie Anne San Jose, extended their well-wishes to the proud father and the soon-to-be husband and wife.
Prior to Gary’s announcement, Kiana also published an appreciation post on Instagram—a silhouette photo of what could be her and her boyfriend Sandro.
The caption reads: “Dad calls him my anchor. Mom calls him my safe space. I think they are both right.”

Kiana is Gary and Angeli Pangilinan’s only daughter. Aside from Kiana, Gary and Angeli have two sons, Paolo and Gabriel Valenciano.

Kiana was once linked to singer Sam Concepcion. They started dating in 2015 until news of their breakup was confirmed by Sam himself in September 2018.
Two years after the split, Kiana then publicized his new beau and soon-to-be husband, Sandro, through a birthday greeting.
