“Sa amin na lang muna yon,” says Kim about her relationship with Xian
Kim Chiu did not give a precise answer when asked what is the real score behind her relationship with longtime beau Xian Lim.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Monday, November 27, the “Linlang” star rendered a neutral answer to the question: “Ano na ba ang latest sa ‘yong love life. Kayo pa ba [ni Xian?]”
Kim laughs meekly and answers, “Grabe, sa amin na lang muna yon. We’ll just keep it to ourselves na muna.”

Earlier in November, Kim was also asked by a few members of the press what their relationship status was. At that time, the 33-year-old actress assures that all is well between her and Xian.
“Okay naman kami ni [Xian]. Mapanlinlang ang showbiz pero maayos naman, masaya naman po,” she says in an outright rejection of an ongoing rumor.
Kim has also warned about being easily swayed by false news—a thing that Xian has retold on his Instagram account just a few days after Kim’s interview.
Amid “plenty of hearsay,” Xian pleads, ”I would like to ask everyone to be mindful of what you chose to believe in deceiving headlines and other information used to just pretend to know the whole story for personal gain and traction.”
Contrary to Kim’s recent answer, she was consistent in saying that their romance was intact. In fact, Kim says in the November 2 episode of “It’s Showtime” that Xian remains as one of her sources of happiness.

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim’s breakup issue
Speculations about their breakup sparked after netizens observed that Kim and Xian no longer flex each other on social media.
Even during the ABS-CBN Ball 2023 on September 30, Kim was spotted walking solo—which was never the case in the past years as she was always escorted by Xian during similar events.
Kim and Xian were last seen together on July 30, when they had a trip to Hong Kong. In snippets shared by Kim on Instagram on July 16, Xian even made it a point to tease Kim with, “Hala….parang first week nung nililigawan pa kita.”
Kim and Xian started dating in 2012, but it was only in 2018 that they publicized they relationship.
