Leren to Ricci: “Wag ka maglaba, ako na!”
Beauty queen-turned-politician Leren Mae Bautista has a relatively funny response to Ricci Rivero’s brother, Prince Rivero, who joked that the basketball player needs to wash his clothes for sweating so much in a basketball game.

Ricci had his first ever basketball match under Phoenix Fuel Masters on Friday, November 10, 2023.
Brought about by the heat of the game against NLEX Road Warriors, Ricci was seen sweating so much, which is why his brother quipped in an Instagram story that the basketball player has to do his laundry.
Ricci was also seen doing the laundry hand gesture in the video.
Leren had then reshared the IG content as her story, and it comes with a caption that reads, “Hahahahaha! Wag ka maglaba, ako na!”
The joke seemed to have borne out of a statement from actress Andrea Brillantes, Ricci Rivero’s ex-girlfriend, who once attested in an interview with Vice Ganda that the athlete takes a year to do his laundry.
While the actress never directly mentioned Ricci’s name, she might have actually taken a swipe at him since they were fresh from the breakup back then. Besides, Ricci is the only known boyfriend that Andrea had in the past.

Leren Mae Bautista airs fond words for Ricci Rivero
Even prior to the match-up, it seemed like Ricci had won already from the words expressed by her girlfriend Leren on Instagram.
In a post, Leren writes, “You deserve all the love in the world. I’m so thankful to see the real you— authentic, fun, and loving. No more fantasies, just pure love.
“Remember that I will be here behind you, cheering and supporting you. Good luck on your first PBA game today!”
Ricci publicized his relationship with Leren on October 21 through an Instagram post. Prior to that, they were seen out and about in public, which then fanned bigger rumors about their romance.
