Ricci seen going out with Leren months after breakup with Andrea
Basketball player Ricci Rivero and beauty queen-turned-politician Leren Mae Bautista have revived romance speculations following sightings of them together in public.
The 25-year-old athlete seems to be in a budding romance with the 30-year-old councilor of Los Baños, Laguna, as suggested by photographs of them going out at a mall and jogging together around the University of the Philippines Los Baños campus.
According to PEP.ph’s insider, the two were seen at exactly 7:40 a.m, at the freedom park of the university.

Uncertain at first, the informant then verified the figure to be Ricci after he had taken off his face mask. Leren, on the other hand, was recognized by the people of her hometown.
In another instance, a photo of them checking out some stuffed toys at a mall have also fueled further rumors of their illicit relationship.
This development follows Ricci’s infamous breakup with actress Andrea Brillantes, who later claimed through a message obtained by television personality DJ Jhai Ho that she had seen a naked woman at the athlete’s place.
It can also be recalled that Leren’s name made the headlines some time in June 2023, amid the breakup, as some netizens linked her as the reason behind the split.
Allegations hounded Leren after netizens quickly attached romantic connotations to month-old photos of her and Ricci together at an outreach activity.

However, Ricci has belied this claim during an interview with host Boy Abunda on June 26. And the same firm denial was rendered by Leren’s camp, who took to social media the refutation of the ongoing rumors.

Andrea and Ricci had a year of love—starting in April 2022 when the basketball player had asked the actress to be official during a UAAP face-off between University of the Philippines and Far Eastern University.
Following such, the two even made multiple public appearances including in March 2023 when they went to the BLACKPINK concert together at the Philippine Arena.
During such, Andrea made the decision of asking Ricci to the ABS-CBN Prom, which was nodded by the BLACKPINK members themselves.
In May, the two of them finally called it quits, as first announced by Ricci on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
