Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste clarified his legal relationship status before pursuing further romantic involvement with Kris Aquino.
In an interview with showbiz columnist Butch Francisco on Pikapika Showbiz’s YouTube channel, Mark promptly asserted that he remains “legally single,” a fact that holds true from before his connection with the Queen of All Media. This clarification comes a month after their separation was confirmed.
Mark clarified that he had been single before entering Kris’ life and emphasized that he is still legally single. He acknowledged Kris’ warmth and generosity towards his children and family. While he did not delve into his previous relationships, he underlined the genuine affection and connections developed.

The Batangas-based politician recounted his initial encounter with Kris, disclosing that he participated as a contestant on the former game show ” Kapamilya Deal or No Deal.”
Mark vividly remembered summoning the courage to kiss Kris on the cheek during the show, driven by his enormous crush on her.
According to Mark, their romantic involvement began in the New Year of 2023. He shared that he had the opportunity to visit Kris in Los Angeles, USA, during this time. He reached out to her, and to his surprise, she welcomed his visit, marking the beginning of their journey together.
“I visited Kris last January 1 in LA. I texted her days before New Year. I said, ‘I’m in town. Can I visit you?’ Lo and behold, she replied and allowed me to go to her place. And the rest, as they say, is history,” he said.
Despite their relationship subsequently going on a “pause” due to Mark’s responsibilities as a public servant, Kris bestowed him with a ring as a symbol of their enduring “love and friendship.”
