Maymay Entrata and Canadian boyfriend Aaron Haskell have booted each other out of their Instagram following list.
The “Amakabogera” singer and her Canadian beau’s recent social media gesture points to a possible trouble in paradise—months after Maymay revealed that they have been facing “long-distance” problems.
Now that they have stopped unfollowing each other on Instagram, the bigger question poses itself more clearly: Is the persistent rumor of their separation true?
Their relationship status was brought more closely to the public in January 2024, when Rose Garcia, Jun Nardo, and Ambet Nabus discussed the issue via “Marites University.”
According to them, there were netizens who have been noticing that Maymay no longer posts her boyfriend on social media. More so, some people pointed out that a few posts of Maymay together with Aaron were allegedly deleted.
Maymay first expressed their relationship struggles in June 2023, saying that the distance between them has not been easy to work through. As she puts it, “Sobrang hirap po ng LDR… hindi po madali.”
At the time, Maymay also shared her sentiments about “maturity,” further highlighting that having such is important to make their relationship work.

Despite the distance being an issue, Maymay says that Aaron had been consistent in his efforts—making sure that the actress feels well-taken care of.
With all the efforts that her boyfriend has been putting into their relationship, Maymay shares, “At peace sa puso ko na wala akong dapat ipag-alala sa kung saan man siya roon, basta maging safe lang siya.”
Prior to the interview, Maymay celebrated her 26th birthday with a surprise appearance of his boyfriend during his performance in “ASAP Natin ‘To” on May 7, 2023.

Her birthday speech tapped on the pursuit of love and kindness—both of which must be anchored on God alone.
She shares, “Nasa imperfect world kasi tayo kaya nawa po talaga mangibabaw yung pagmamahal at kabutihan po natin sa bawat isa.
“Magiging possible lang po yun kapag nagde-defend po tayo sa perfect one kundi yung Panginoon.
“Kasi hindi ko mai-magine yung buhay ko kapag wala Siya sa buhay ko kasi, kasi kung wala Siya, wala rin yung mga taong nagmamahal sa akin.”
Maymay hard-launched his romance with Aaron in 2022, when she posted a birthday greeting for her “Valentino” on Valentine’s Day.
