Miguel: “Pang-apat, I love you!”
Miguel Tanfelix has outrightly expressed his love and admiration for on-screen partner Ysabel Ortega during GMA-7’s “All-Out Sundays.”
Turning 25 this Thursday, January 25, 2024, Ysabel performed a special production number as an advance birthday celebration in the January 21 episode of GMA-7’s Sunday noontime show.
For the encore, Ysabel shared the stage with Miguel to dance to the beat of “Circus” by Britney Spears. Following the performance, Miguel and Ysabel are then joined by Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista, and Julie Anne San Jose to greet her.

Upon greeting her, Julie asks Miguel, “Ano ang birthday [message] mo para kay [Ysabel],” to which the actor quips, “Text ko na lang sa ‘yo.”
But on a more serious note, Miguel adds, “Siguro unang-una, babatiin lang kita ng ‘Happy Birthday!’ Pangalawa, gusto kong sabihin na I’m proud of you.
“Kasi you’ve come a long way—kita yan ng ‘AOS’ barkada natin na grabe na yung dance prod ni Ysabel ngayon.
“Pangatlo, gusto kong mag-thank you sa lahat ng binibigay mo sa akin at pinaparamdam mo sa akin, sa family ko.
“Pang-apat, I love you!”
Miguel’s fond words for Ysabel have drawn long cheers and kilig from the audience and from Julie Anne, Christian, and Mark, who later on praised Miguel for being so vocal about his love for Ysabel.

In return, Ysabel has also aired how grateful she is for Miguel. When asked what she can say about Miguel’s greeting, she taps her on-screen partner lightly and says, “Of course, thank you so much all the time.
“Alam mo rin kung gaano ako ka-proud sa ‘yo. Thank you so much for all the support sa lahat ng bagay.”
Ysabel then mentions her family, supporters, and everyone who paved the road for her as an actress.
The crowd then started to cheer a bit more in hopes that Ysabel would return Miguel’s “I love you.” Even Julie Anne, Christian, and Mark were teasing her for it, but the actress seemingly wanted to save it for later in private.
Miguel and Ysabel had publicized the status of their romance in an interview with Boy Abunda in December 2023.
The “Firefly” stars have admitted that they are exclusively dating. As for Miguel, “Ako, personally, hindi po ako nanliligaw sa iba,” just as Ysabel says, “Sa ngayon, hindi rin po ako nagpapaligaw.”
In February 2023, Miguel admitted in the same talk show that he is pursuing Ysabel, saying, “Mahal na mahal ko siya.”
