Just like Miles, Elijah is also willing to revive their distant romance
Love might prove itself sweeter the second time after Miles Ocampo‘s revelation that she and ex-boyfriend Elijah Canlas are trying to fix their lost romance.
During the media conference for TV5’s upcoming series “Padyak Princess” on Monday, March 18, 2024, Miles was asked by entertainment reporter MJ Marfori about their current status.
Without disclosing too much, Miles says, “Let’s see. We’re working on it.”
This has not been the first time that the prospect of reconciliation was brought up. Their attendance at Maine Mendoza’s birthday party just recently points to a clearer indication of their mending relationship.

Prior to this, Elijah has also hinted at a possibility of their reconciliation in an interview with MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News.
When asked about whether or not the “Senior High” actor is already open for another shot at love, he says, “Looking for love? What if love pa?”
He then emphasizes his lingering admiration for Miles, saying, “There’s always love within us, right? There’s always love within us… and I have so much love to give, you know.
“Honestly, I have so much love to give. So much love inside of me and I’m willing to give it to anyone who’s willing to accept.”
Taking Elijah’s words for it, MJ clarifies if he and Miles have already found each other back to love–to which the actor responds with, “We’re friends. You’ll be the first to know.”
Just like Elijah, Miles has always been vocal about her unwavering love for him. In an interview with Karen Davila in January 2024, Miles says, “May pinagsamahan kami, matagal din kami.
“And kapag ganun na, marami kayong pinagdaanan together, marami kayong happy memories together, parang I have so much love and respect for that person.”
Miles adds, “Tingnan natin ang universe, Ms. Karen, magsabi.”

Miles and Elijah publicized their romance in May 2022—with Elijah saying that they had been going out since 2021.
While their romance fared well for a while, fans were shocked with Elijah’s sudden revelation via ABS-CBN on November 23, 2023 that they decided to call it quits.
At that time, the actor says that their fallout was mainly due to a “rough patch” brought about by their “own personal stuff.”
Even though they separated, Elijah still says that no ties were severed and that they remain cordial with each other despite reaching the end of their relationship.
