If you’ve watched movies such as Aliens, Blade Runner, and The Gladiator, you probably know how Ridley Scott always understands the assignment when it comes to epic projects. Well, his latest project now has a release date!

The second season of the android science-fiction drama series Raised by Wolves is returning for a second season on HBO Max this coming February 3, 2022. The story revolves around two androids tasked with raising human children after the Earth was destroyed by a great war. Not only is Scott the director of the show, but he also doubles as Executive Producer of the project.

According to HBO Max: “In season two of ‘Raised by Wolves,’ Android partners Mother (Amanda Collin) and Father (Abubakar Salim), along with their brood of six human children, join a newly formed atheistic colony in Kepler 22 b’s mysterious tropical zone. But navigating this strange new society is only the start of their troubles as Mother’s ‘natural child’ threatens to drive what little remains of the human race to extinction.”

Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, Travis Fimmel, Jordan Loughran, Felix Jamieson, and Ethan Hazzard are set to return for the sophomore season of Raise By Wolves. They will be joined by Peter Christoffersen as Cleaver, Selina Jones as Grandmother, Morgan Santo as Vrille, James Harkness as Tamerlane, Kim Engelbrecht as Decima, and Jennifer Saayeng as Nerva.
Raised By Wolves was given the green light for a second season shortly after the first season was launched worldwide.

The 10-episode first season was released weekly in batches of episodes (along with a companion podcast featuring Aaron Guzikowski). Production on the new season ran from March to August of this year in South Africa. Watch the teaser trailer for yourself to hype you up on the new season.
