Hello for the fourth time, you.

The long wait is finally over for fans of You, one of Netflix’s most extensive series. The streamer confirmed on March 22 that ‘You’ Season 4 is finally in production. Its third season dropped in Oct. 2021. Since then, viewers have been dying to see more of their favorite stalker!

Season 3 followed Joe Goldberg and Love Quinn as they navigated their new chapter. They worked hard to raise their son, Henry, in the fictitious suburb of Madre Linda, California. As always, Joe repeats his cycle of obsession with another woman, with tragic results.

As fans know, the series is based on Caroline Kepnes’ novels You, Hidden Bodies, and You Love Me. Rumor has it that she has been working on a fourth installment for some time now.

Netflix recently confirmed that ‘You’ Season 4 is set in London! They announced this in an Instagram post, which they captioned, “Cheerio, you. While changing his behavior may not be Joe’s forte, he’s never afraid to switch up his address. If his reading list is any indication, our boy seems to be across the pond.”

It was also confirmed that several new actors are joining the cast. These include Amy Leigh Hickman, Ed Speleers, and Tilly Keeper.

Penn Badgley, the actor who portrays Joe, talked about the show’s fourth season. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, he reveals that You will have a shift in genre. Despite the changes to the Netflix show’s feel, Penn says that he thinks “it works.”

“The tone is similar, but it’s shifting in that there is a different format,” says the actor.

He also shared that the location shift from Paris to London in the series is due to budget reasons. He adds that “it’s cheaper” to shoot in the UK.
