To celebrate the return of live music events in the United Kingdom, Louis Tomlinson is holding his own music festival!
Called “The Away From Home Festival,” the one-day event will take place at the Crystal Palace Bowl in South London on August 30, 2021. Aside from Louis, The Snuts, Bilk, and DJ Jess Iszatt will also be performing live at the event.
“I’ve been sat on this idea for the last 12 months at least and now to see it come to life makes me very excited. Personally, playing live shows is the best part of what I do and it’s been far too long since I’ve seen you all,” Louis said. “I’ve got a really good feeling it’s going to be a really special night. We all deserve that!”
But what’s even better than watching Louis Tomlinson perform live? Watching Louis Tomlinson perform live for free!
All 8,500 tickets to the festival will be given to lucky fans who will be picked through a random selection. Those interested in attending the event must register at “The Away From Home Festival” website to get a chance to win a pair of tickets.
For those who won’t be able to go, a filmed version will be available online just a few days after the event.
There’s also hope for fans who wish to attend another one like this in the future—when asked on Twitter if this music festival will be followed by another one anytime soon, the One Direction member said that he wants it “to be an annual thing.”
Louis released his first solo album “Walls” which peaked at the 9th spot on the US Billboard 200 chart in January 2020. The album carries “Two of Us,” a song written about his mother who passed away in 2016 and “Don’t Let It Break Your Heart,” “a song about hope and seeing the glass as half full.”
