Ryan Bang recalls one favor he asked from Kim Chiu
Ryan Bang explained his side after Vhong Navarro and Ogie Alcasid’s exposé about his constant feud with their “It’s Showtime” co-host Kim Chiu.
Ryan has appeared as a guest in Vhong’s YouTube vlog published on January 14, 2024. With Ogie as Vhong’s co-host, they then brought up an issue and asked Ryan about his quarrel with Kim.
Ogie asks, “Bakit ba kayo nag-aaway ni Kim Chiu?”
Vhong then presses further with, “Ang tagal niyong hindi nag-uusap. Parang three weeks din, ah.
However, Ryan is in denial of the issue, as he tries to suppress the matter as a plain misunderstanding rather than a quarrel.
According to Ryan, what transpired between them was never anything serious. In fact, he clarifies that he and Kim are best friends. Upon further explanation, he admits feeling tampo for a favor he once asked from Kim.
Ryan narrates, “Kasi nagpi-favor lang ako kay Kim. Si Kim kasi na-excite siya sa love life ko. ‘Tapos noong naghanap ako doon [‘It’s Showtime’ studio]. Nagkuwento ako sa inyo.
“Pero gusto ko keep it private kasi hindi naman siya artista, yung girlfriend ko, e. Tapos gusto ni Kimmy, sa sobrang excitement, magkuwento sa ‘Showtime.’ Yun lang naman yun. “
Ryan emphasizes that his discretion to keep a lowkey relationship with his girlfriend lies in the fact that the girl is coming from a non-showbiz background. With that, Ryan deems it necessary, “Para respeto na rin sa pamilya niya.”

Vhong then tries to justify Kim’s gesture and says that it might be because of the actress’s excitement that prompted her to go beyond the line.
With that, Ryan agrees by saying, “Natutuwa, na-excite lang si Kimmy para sa amin kasi best friends kami.”
Ryan has then dismissed the topic and quipped about putting up a fight with Ogie for exposing his tampuhan with Kim.
It can be recalled that Ryan has announced his romance with a certain Paola Grace Huyong during the August 29, 2023 episode of “It’s Showtime.”
At that time, Ryan reveals, “Gusto kong sabihin sa aking [It’s] Showtime family, sa harap ninyo, Mommy, Daddy, kay kuya ko, ate ko, Tiyang, may girlfriend na ako.”
