South Korean TV network SBS has unveiled the teaser for its upcoming fantasy-romance K-drama series, “My Demon.” The drama will feature the talented duo Song Kang and Kim Yoo-jung.
According to Soompi, “My Demon” is a whimsical romantic comedy set in the fantasy genre. It narrates the story of Do Do Hee, an heiress with a demon-like disposition, and Jung Gu Won, a demon who loses his supernatural abilities. The plot takes an intriguing twist as they embark on a contractual marriage.
In this upcoming K-drama, Song Kang takes on the character Jung Gu-won. Gu-won, a demon who has roamed the earth for two centuries, sustains his existence by making pacts with humans. He harbors hate for humans until a mysterious turn of events leads to him losing all his powers to Do Do Hee, played by the talented Kim Yoo-jung.

Do Do Hee is portrayed as the imperious heiress of the wealthy Future Group. Despite her privileged status, she has trust issues towards those around her.
To avoid his impending death and regain his powers, Gu-won enters a contractual marriage with Do-hee. As they navigate this unusual arrangement, their relationship turns unexpectedly when romantic feelings blossom.
The official teaser provides a glimpse of their intriguing connection. In the clip, Do-hee says, “I cannot get shaken up. We aren’t really married anyways. Being fake has always been sweeter, anyway.” In response, Gu-won, replies, “Again, I’m the only one being sincere,” as they prepare for their wedding day.

Song Kang has expressed his excitement for this project. He conveyed to Soompi, “I’m really happy to be able to work together with ‘My Demon.’ Please show lots of interest and anticipation as we are working hard to film and show a great project that lives up to expectations.”
“My Demon” is set to premiere on SBS on November 24 at 10 p.m. KST. New episodes will be released every Friday and Saturday.
