The Spotify AI DJ presents a lineup of personalized songs for a more personal music experience
Spotify’s Artificial Intelligence DJ feature has entered its beta phase for users in the Philippines.
Introduced as a beta feature in February, the Spotify AI DJ serves as a personalized AI guide that tailors music selections to users’ preferences. This latest Spotify feature aims to promote a fresh connection between fans and artists.
Spotify AI DJ utilizes optimization of personalization technology and generative AI. Through this, it is able to curate a personalized experience, aligning with each listener’s musical preferences.
The DJ feature initially launched in the United States and Canada, followed by a roll-out in the United Kingdom and Ireland in May.

Adding a distinctive touch, the DJ possesses a “voice,” further enhancing the experience by catering to specific user preferences.
Here’s how Spotify Premium users can access their personalized DJs:
- Launch the Spotify mobile app on your iOS or Android device.
- Navigate to the Music feed on the Home tab and tap DJ, or locate it within the Made for You hub under the Search tab.
- Allow Spotify to take it from there.

DJ will present a lineup of music selected for the user, accompanied by brief commentary in English about the songs and artists.
To modify the genre, artist, or mood, users can conveniently tap the DJ button positioned at the bottom right corner of the screen. The new Spotify AI DJ feature is now available nationwide.
