Projects starring Kim Chiu, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Alden Richards are part of VIVA Films’ 2024 lineup!
VIVA Films is all set for a full year of movie offerings featuring its brightest stars, as well as contract stars from other networks and film outfits this 2024.
The 43-year-old production company has just released its line-up of movies including its cast members and playdates in a recent media conference before 2023 ended.
Serving as its opening salvo is “My Zombabe,” a good vibes movie headlined by Kim Molina and Empoy Marquez. It is set to premiere on January 8, 2024.
Other movies scheduled to be shown in January 2024 are “Roadtrip” starring real-life friends Janice De Belen, Gelli De Belen, Carmina Villarroel, and Candy Pangilinan.
Janno Gibbs will top bill the movie “Itutumba Ka Ng Tatay Ko.” It is the last movie of his father, Ronaldo Valdez before he died on December 17, 2023.
Max Eigenmann will headline a movie called “Raging Grace,” while Toni Gonzaga and Pepe Herrera will star in the remake of the hit Korean movie “My Sassy Girl.”
For Korean and Hollywood films showing in January 2024, VIVA Films brings “The Bricklayer” starring Aaron Eckhart; and “Our Season” starring Park Sung Woong.
VIVA Films 2024 Offerings: AshMatt and JoshLia reunion
After a four-year hiatus from doing movies, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo is back. This time, she will be paired with her husband, Matteo Guidicelli in the movie “Wonderful Nightmare.” The film is expected for a June release.
The upcoming film is an adaptation of a 2015 South Korean movie of the same title starring Uhm Jung-hwa and Song Seung-heon.
The last time Sarah and Matteo did a movie together was the 2011 film “Catch Me, I’m In Love.” At the time, Sarah was paired with Gerald Anderson.

Meanwhile, the love month also showcases the reunion of ex-lovers Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto for a project. Dubbed the JoshLia love team, their last movie together was the 2020 zombie movie “Block Z.”
Other movies that will come out this February from VIVA Films are “Ikaw Pa Rin Ang Pipiliin Ko” headlined by Aga Muhlach and Julia Barretto; and “Out of Order” starring Alden Richards and Heaven Peralejo.
“Out of Order” is also Alden’s directorial debut, with his production company Myriad Productions as co-producer.
In June, “The Rain In Espana” breakout love team Heaven Peralejo and Marco Gallo will headline the romantic film “Men are from QC, Women are from Alabang.”
Lastly, real-life couple Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles will headline the film “Best Before Love.”
VIVA Films is also set to experiment with different pairings and casting combinations in their other films.
This March 2023, Diego Loyzaga and Coleen Garcia are joining forces in “Isang Gabi” while Cristine Reyes and Baron Geisler are working together in “Dearly Beloved.”
As part of the April offerings, Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Jerome Ponce will star in “Glimpse of Forever” while Kylie Verzosa and Paulo Avelino’s much-awaited pairing, “Elevator Game,” will finally be screened in cinemas.
Jerald Napoles and Janno Gibbs will star in “Tito X Tita” while Diego Loyzaga and Rhen Escano are teaming up in “Bullet Day.” These films will be shown in May, along with Xian Lim’s first movie with VIVA Films as director titled “Kumanthong.”
Alessandra de Rossi will headline the movie “Ang Tatlong Pinakamahabang Gabi” in July.
Real-life close friends Kim Chiu and Bela Padilla are working on the movie “Dwellers” with Sid Lucero.
Other offerings in the lineup are “Sword’s Up” starring Atasha Muhlach, “Playtime” starring Xian Lim, Sanya Lopez, and Coleen Garcia, and a movie starring Bela Padilla, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Aga Muhlach.
