There’s no stopping the accolades and recognition that Dolly de Leon will receive this year. This time, the Golden Globes nominee is part of PeopleAsia’s outstanding Women of Style and Substance List 2023.
Dolly de Leon’s fame skyrocketed in the past few months, thanks to her groundbreaking role in “Triangle of Sadness,” which earned her nominations for “Best Supporting Actress” from Golden Globe Awards and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTA), among many other recognitions.
In her decades-long career, Dolly has had her fair share of ups and downs, and even thought of quitting the profession thrice, but she persevered in the name of passion and, now, the Philippines has its own Golden Globe and BAFTA nominee.
This year, PeopleAsia’s annual list honors 14 women who broke the glass ceiling with their achievements that redefine the meaning of beauty, success, and purpose.
Aside from artists, athletes, and executives, the list also includes public servants and glamorous and hardworking women from other sectors who have been game-changers in their own respects.

Joining the highly acclaimed actress on the roster is Megastar Sharon Cuneta, who also happens to be featured on the special flip cover of this year’s Women of Style and Substance issue.
