Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli grace the media launch of the new UNIQLO SM Mall of Asia store!
On stage, Sarah Geronimo has always showcased a grand ensemble of outfits for every performance.
But when she’s off stage and just at home, did you know that the “Popstar Royalty” only prefers wearing T-shirts?
She shares, “Ako, I like wearing T-shirts kasi very comfortable to wear and easy to pair with anything.”
Sarah and husband Matteo Guidicelli graced the media launch of the newly renovated UNIQLO store at SM Mall of Asia on May 15, in time for the grand opening of the store on May 17, 2024.
At the event, Sarah proudly showcased the Airism cotton short sleeves T-Shirt, which she was just wearing at the airport during her last flight because of the hot weather.
She adds, “It felt light and comfortable, I paired it with the dirty denim pleated trousers, very light din yung pants na yun.”
In fact, both Sarah and Matteo have almost all the colors of the Airism shirts!
Matteo says, “Everytime we have to come back, we always like to update the colors because they always surprise us with really good colors that are all-around fits and we can switch from work outfits to house outfits every day.”
Matteo proudly adds that they actually always frequent UNIQLO stores to check out their new offerings.
“We come here once or twice a month, maybe three or four times a month. But every time we come here, there are always new and fresh clothes so we have so many things to choose from.”
As Sarah puts it: “UNIQLO is really a happy place for us.”

UNIQLO re-opens at SM Mall of Asia
It took two years before mallgoers at SM Mall of Asia got to enjoy UNIQLO as a redefined store opened on Friday, May 17.
The store went through extensive renovations and expansion to offer a new experience for its customers, boasting a sales floor of around 3,000 square meters across two floors.
Aside from offering its simple, high-quality LifeWear collection, the UNIQLO store at Mall of Asia becomes the second store in the Philippines to house the UTMe! Custom print service and UNIQLO Coffee café.
UTme! is a service through which customers can create their own graphic t-shirts with custom stickers and their own photos or artwork. The SM Mall of Asia store gets to have exclusive new artwork from Filipino artists Lloyd Zapanta, Aaron Amar, and Studio Dialogo, as well as designs created in partnership with fan-favorite local brands Auro and Mana.
Meanwhile, UNIQLO Coffee Café features a store-exclusive menu that offers classics such as Americano and Café Latte coffees, as well as refreshing beverages including Passion Fruit Tea and White Peach Fruit Tea.
A selection of treats is also available like New York Cheesecake, Matcha Cheescake, and Cereal Cookie, as well as gelatos like Cereal Milk, Hojicha, and Tablea Lava Cake.
