Here’s high-grade advice from the Diagold woman herself!
People only see the grand life of business mogul and vlogger Small Laude through her curated videos. And while most of the clips speak highly of the bougie lifestyle she has, Small’s endearing and humble demeanor has made her publicly relatable, admirable, and idolized.
Such outright influence rooted in class and relatability is made more evident as she becomes the newest face of Cebu-based jewelry provider Diagold at the Shangri-la Hotel in Bonifacio Global City, on Monday, May 8, 2023.
Heavily known for her meticulous taste in luxurious items, Small had the chance to share some of the delicate requirements she checks when buying jewelry. According to her, “The color should be white. It should be clean and free from blemishes. I’m not saying it should be perfect, but it should have fewer flaws. Even if it is small, it should be clear and white.”
Small also renders advice for first-time buyers as she emphasized that no jewelry is ever too small. As for her, instinct takes precedence if a piece is worth purchasing for. “If it’s worth it, I’ll get it,” she says.
When one of the press asked about her favorite gems aside from diamonds, colored and neutral choices have made it well and good to her list. She shares, “I like pearls, actually. I love blue sapphire.” In addition to this, she associates herself with some of the nicer gems: “I would be like an emerald or a diamond, of course.”
The markings of a Diagold Woman
The 15th anniversary of Diagold is marked with the announcement of a new ambassador, in the flesh of Small Laude. As for the brand’s chief operating officer Jennifer Ty, Small, no less, is the most ideal face of the line.
Ty shares that people “[L]ive vicariously through Small. Regardless of background and age, people love her. Despite her opulent background, she’s grounded, which endears her to everyone.”
Small’s interest does not deviate far from the brand. Ty also mentioned that Small’s inclination to jewelry and her grand background, her values reach far from the superficial. “There’s more to her than meets the eye. Small is a woman of substance. For me, she’s an inspiration and aspiration for everyone–and that is a Diagold woman,” shares Ty.
Small Laude has joined the Diagold family and will be the face of the brand onwards together with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach. Diagold has a long illustrious history of working with women who exude beauty, grace, and elegance, including model Georgina Wilson and media executive Charo Santos-Concio.
