Following its reopening last September, Baguio’s tourism business is back in full swing, and it’s just apt that everybody gets the chance to visit the top tourist destination (safely, of course!).

This is why it comes as great news to the wanderlusts out there that Victory Liner has resumed its route from Metro Manila to Baguio and vice versa.

Starting December 28, Victory Liner will once again take daily trips from its terminal in Cubao all the way to Baguio in Benguet. As of the moment, it will only take three scheduled trips a day: at 5 AM, 10 AM, and 3 PM. Likewise, the Baguio-Cubao route will only have three scheduled trips daily: at 8 AM, 1 PM, and 5 PM. The point-to-point fare is at PhP576 per person.

However, as mandated, Victory Liner is also strictly adhering to the inter-agency task force’s travel policies. Tourists will have to secure a QTP or QR-coded Tourist Pass, which they can acquire by signing up and scheduling their visit through the Baguio VISITA website. They will also need to present a negative COVID-19 test result valid within at least 72 hours before their expected date of arrival. Upon arriving at their destination, they will also be subject to Baguio City’s triage procedures.

To save you a slight hassle, Victory Liner is also offering antigen swab testing services inside their Cubao terminal, care of Hero Laboratories. The service is available at P800 per test. The booth is open from 8 AM to 10 AM and 1 PM to 3 PM.

Now that we think about it, maybe welcoming the new year in the City of Pines is the perfect getaway, don’t you think?
