“He doesn’t have taste,” Sabrina says
Star Magic artist Andrea Brillantes has hinted on her late romance with basketball player Ricci Rivero during a quick conversation with U.S. singer Sabrina Carpenter at the recently concluded “Emails I Cant Send” Tour on Tuesday, July 25.
The 20-year-old actress was noticed yet again by a foreign act, just months after South Korean girl group BLACKPINK helped her “prompose” to then-boyfriend Ricci during the “Born Pink” concert at the Philippine Arena.

In a video uploaded by the New Frontier Theater on Instagram, Andrea can be seen in a brief discussion with Sabrina.
“Let her talk, why is she mad? I wanna know,” Sabrina exclaims, extending the microphone to Andrea who was obviously shaking.
“Actually, I think they know,” Andrea replies then proceeds into detail of how her recent struggles “kind of ruin [her] reputation in a way.”
However inaudible some parts are, Andrea can also be heard saying “just a victim,” as she talks about how Sabrina’s songs somehow speak about and echo her struggles.
Sabrina then says, “Oh, it’s a guy? No sh*t, it’s always a guy,” as some people in the crowd seemingly explained to the singer about the situation.

The singer then asks, “Say, what? You all know this guy?” This was followed by the crowd’s resounding “Yes!”
It has piqued Sabrina’s curiosity, to which she asks, “Is he here?”
When the crowd says “No,” she then responds, “Well, he doesn’t have taste.”
The singer then tries to offer Andrea some advice, nudging the actress to detach through a game she calls “Unsubscribe.”

Andrea and Ricci had shared a year of love, starting sometime in April of 2022 when the basketball player asked the actress to be official during University of the Philippines and Far Eastern University’s UAAP match.

A year after, the two called it quits as confirmed by Ricci on Twitter. After deviating rumors about his infidelity, Andrea has finally spoken up and verified the allegations, even attesting that she saw a naked woman at Ricci’s place.
