GMA-7’s talent management arm, Sparkle, has recently held its annual contract signing event on Friday, September 22, for its growing pool of talents.
This year’s contract signing, aptly called Signed For Stardom, was headlined by some of its homegrown artists, such as Barbie Forteza, David Licauco, and Ruru Madrid.
This year’s Signed for Stardom event was dubbed the biggest contract-signing event of Sparkle, with 48 artists signing new contracts with the Kapuso talent management arm.
Headlining the event are GMA-7’s household names, Barbie Forteza and David Licauco, who are currently starring in the TV remake of the action movie “Maging Sino Ka Man.”

Ruru Madrid, who is set to assume the title role in the upcoming primetime series “Black Rider,” also renewed his ties with his mother studio. Ruru is a homegrown actor of the network since he joined “Protege: The Battle For The Big Artista Break” in 2012.

Living by its reputation as the “leading talent management agency in the country,” it then introduces a new set of promising young stars bannered by Sienna Stevens.
Some people may recognize this “adorable” kid as Dingdong Dantes’s daughter in GMA-7’s hit series “Royal Blood.”
She was then followed by other promising young stars, including Will Ashley, Bruce Roeland, Matthew Uy, Angel Leighton, AZ Martinez, Yvette Sanchez, and Shuvee Etrata.
GMA-7’s homegrown singers are also included in the contract-signing event, including Liana Castillo, John Rex, Timmy Albert, Vianna Ricafraca, Hannah Precillas, Jessica Villarubin, Garrett Bolden, and XOXO’s Riel, Mel, Lyra, and Dani.
Also introduced during the contract-signing event are faces who will lead GMA-7’s news and lifestyle programs. It includes pageant king MJ Ordillano, national athlete Maureen Schrijvers, and a group of young hosts and influencers, including Mica Salamanca, Ashley Sandrine Yap, and Janeena Chan.
