It marked a significant milestone in Britney’s life, following the end of her 13-year-long conservatorship just six months earlier.

Amid personal struggles, Britney spoke about her desire to marry Sam as she sought to end the conservatorship that restricted her life. Reports of difficulties in their marriage surfaced in recent months, culminating in the divorce filing. This marks the third marriage for Britney, who was before married to Jason Alexander for a short period in 2004 and then to dancer Kevin Federline. Kevin is the father of her two sons and has custody of them.

The conservatorship allowed Britney to continue her artistic endeavors, including music releases and performances. Even so, she has not performed live in years following its conclusion. She has been working on her memoir, “The Woman in Me,” for release in October.
