Seth Rogen’s “TMNT” hits theaters on August 4, 2023
Actor Seth Rogen has revealed the primary cast of his upcoming film, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.” Rogen, who’s the executive producer for the film, made the announcement at the 2023 Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
With its star-studded cast, fans predict that the animated movie is going to be big.
The new film revolves around fans’ favorite turtles, who have defended New York for years and want recognition for it. When they and April go after a new crime gang in town, things get out of hand when mutants appear and cause trouble. It’s up to the turtles to take care of the danger that surrounds New York.
Voicing the Heroes in a Half Shell are young actors Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Micah Abbey as Donatello, Brady Noon as Raphael, and Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo. April O’Neil, their human ally, will be played by Ayo Edebiri, and Jackie Chan will be Master Splinter.
The Turtles will face a mix of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” characters from the past. A few of the enemies to mention are Genghis Frog (Hannibal Burress), Leatherhead (Rose Byrne), Wingnut (Natasia Demetriou), and Mondo Gecko (Paul Rudd).
Fans can also expect to see Cynthia Utrom (Maya Rudolph), Ray Fillet (Post Malone), Superfly (Ice Cube), Baxter Stockman (Giancarlo Esposito), Bebop (Sebop), and Rocksteady (John Cena).
On March 6, Rogen and his team dropped the first trailer for “Mutant Mayhem.”

By the looks of it, the animations for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” look similar to the “Spider-Verse” films. The adapted animation style speaks volumes about how future animated films will look.
