CreaZion Studios Brings “Priscilla” Biopic To Philippine Cinemas

Filipino fans of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Beaulieu Presley can finally see the biopic!

Filipino film producer and distributor CreaZion Studios continues its streak of bringing international movies to the Philippines.

This time, they have brought the much-anticipated memoir-to-film “Priscilla,” which tells the story of the late Priscilla Beaulieu Presley, the wife of music legend Elvis Presley.

“Priscilla” is the film adaptation of the memoir “Elvis and Me” written by Priscilla herself in 1985.

The film features Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla and Jacob Elordi as Elvis. Dagmara Dominczyk takes on the role of Priscilla’s mother. The film is written and directed by Sofia Coppola.

The movie, according to a recent Variety article, is said to become the most successful box office hit of global streamer and distributor Mubi after grossing $5 million internationally in its first week.

Now, Filipino fans of Elvis and Priscilla, or those who want to watch a romantic yet heartbreaking film, can see the film with CreaZion Studios as its distributor. The movie started screening in Philippine cinemas yesterday, January 31, 2024.

CreaZion Studios Executive Vice President Real Florido says, “We brought ‘Priscilla’ to the Philippines because we know that Filipinos are big fans of Elvis and Priscilla.

“And this is a great love story, a heartbreaking one, that I think most of us have been craving to know about. Plus, of course, the movie is made beautifully and tastefully by no other than Sofia Coppola. So this is definitely a must-see.”

Prior to “Priscilla,” CreaZion Studios were able to bring international movies to the Philippines such as “The Childe” starring Kim Seon-Ho and “When Evil Lurks.”

CreaZion Studios is a multimedia company specializing in film and TV production, digital content production, advertising, artist management, and music.

Some of its projects include “Bakit Di Mo Sabihin?” starring Janine Gutierrez and JC De Vera, “1st Ko Si 3rd” with Nova Villa, the BL series “Kumusta Bro,” and the award-winning “Patay Na Si Hesus” starring Jaclyn Jose.
