What roles will Dimples, Janine, and Maricel take in their respective series?
Dreamscape Entertainment—one of ABS-CBN’s content-providing units—unveiled three still-unnamed projects, each of which will star Dimples Romana, Janine Gutierrez, and Maricel Soriano.
First to be announced is the project of Janine. The actress is just fresh from the successful run of the Kapamilya series “Dirty Linen” in 2023.
The post reads, “Coming from the global success of the most talked about Revenge Drama of 2023 – ‘Dirty Linen,’ Janine Gutierrez is set to make another Dreamscape Entertainment project that will undoubtedly showcase her acting prowess.”
Maricel Soriano continues doing TV work
Veteran actress Maricel Soriano was also unveiled to be an upcoming cast of a series, as per an Instagram post uploaded on the same day as Janine’s.
The caption says, “One of the most respected and acclaimed actresses in the Philippine entertainment industry, the one and only Diamond Star – Maricel Soriano. She is ready to star in another Dreamscape Entertainment project that will surely be remarkable.”
Maricel’s most recent Dreamscape project is “Linlang” starring Kim Chiu, JM de Guzman, and Paulo Avelino, which is currently airing on primetime.
On top of that, she also took part in the afternoon series “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso,” which is a collaboration between ABS-CBN and TV5.
Maricel returned to acting on television through another Dreamscape project, “The General’s Daughter,” aired in 2019.
Dimples returns to Dreamscape
Dimples, on the other hand, was announced last—saying that the actress is set to undertake another “iconic role” after the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.”
The post reads, “From the iconic portrayal of Daniela Mondragon in the hit teleserye ‘Kadenang Ginto,’ Dimples Romana is back home and all set to play another iconic role for a Dreamscape Entertainment project.”
The upcoming series–which has yet to be named–serves as Dimples’ comeback to doing teleseryes under Dreamscape. Her last full-length was “Kadenang Ginto,” which ran from 2018 to 2020.
After that, her projects were under different Kapamilya drama units: “Viral Scandal” under RCD Narratives and “The Iron Heart” under Star Creatives.
Currently, Dimples is busy as a news & current affairs personality on News5, the news department of TV5.
The content-providing unit is yet to announce further details about the projects, such as the respective cast, taping timelines, plots, and release dates.
