Herlene is already taking voice lessons!
Herlene Budol is now getting herself ready for the release of her upcoming single, “Kain Tayo,” in 2024, days after being involved in controversy with Rob Gomez.
As announced on Instagram on Thursday, December 28, 2023, the “Magandang Dilag” star is already taking her voice lessons as part of the preparation.

In the caption, Herlene offers appreciation to her former manager, Wilbert Tolentino, who pushed her to take the musical lessons.
With the expertise of Kimusikero Music Worship Tutorial, Herlene is set to pursue a diverse range of musical genres including Jazz, Pop, Ballad, Blues, Rock, Hip-hop, Classical, Retro, New Age, Reggae and many more.
At the latter part of the post, Herlene then announces her debut single, “Kain Tayo,” will be unveiled in 2024.
She writes (published as is), “Ciempre Abangan ang bagong Single na ilalabas ko sa 2024 – ‘KAIN TAYO’”
The context of Herlene Budol’s “Kain Tayo”
Herlene’s decision to pursue music and release a track followed after the beauty queen got involved in a controversy with “Magandang Dilag” co-star Rob Gomez.
On December 20, Herlene and Rob, together with co-star Bianca Manalo, made headlines after their alleged private conversations were published without permission through Rob’s Instagram account.
One that made quite a heavy buzz across the internet was the “kainan” conversation that netizens have taken maliciously. However, Herlene claims in a statement published on X (formerly Twitter) that it was just a script exercise.
Part of her statement reads, “Yung batuhan ng mga script para pang kabisado sa mga linyahan ay nahaluan ng mga joke at one liner tulad ng salitang ‘kain’ ganyan agad ang tingin niyo sa akin.
“[Sumakay] lang ako sa mga joke dahil komedyante ako kahit alam ko finiflirt ako.”
Prior to the statement, Herlene has initially called out detractors who always start hearsays about her whenever she has projects in the works.
