Issa informed James of his twinning moment with Nadine
Issa Pressman has dismissed the online buzz on James Reid’s matching outfit with his ex-girlfriend, Nadine Lustre in a recent event.
During the recently concluded Preview ball, ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe caught up with James and Issa and asked about the video that went viral online, where fans noticed James and Nadine’s matching outfits.
James explains that he was not aware of the online buzz about their attire, and he was just informed by Issa that their “outfits are matching.”
He even clarifies that it was Gucci’s international team who picked it out for him. It just so happened that they matched and they “looked great.”
Issa, on the other hand, dismissed the issue in a casual tone. As she puts it, “Clothes are clothes, right? They’re both, like, Gucci ambassadors, and they both repped it well.
“So, we’re, like, good job to the Philippines for repping Gucci so well.”
Wrapping up the topic, James attests to having “a lot of fun” during the event.
He also remarks, “it was great to see [Nadine],” talking about his reunion with his ex-girlfriend and former love-team partner.
But as he puts it together with Issa, they say “It’s all Gucci,” referring that everything is good.
James, Issa, and Nadine’s paths crossed during the Gucci flagship store’s grand relaunch on Wednesday, September 7, at Greenbelt 4, Makati City.

During the event, James and Nadine, together with actresses Anne Curtis and Liza Soberano, joined the celebration as local ambassadors of the Italian luxury brand.
James arrived with Issa, while Nadine was seen without her French-Filipino beau Christophe Bariou.
To netizens’ surprise, Nadine and James had a quick encounter as they were captured in matching wardrobes while going in for a friendly hug. Some users even fed their JaDine fantasy by editing them together, shoulder to shoulder.
James and Nadine was a couple for four years and parted ways in 2020. Prior to becoming a real-life couple, they were launched as the JaDine love team, headlining big on-screen projects such as “On the Wings of Love,” “Never Not Love You,” “Till I Met You,” and “Diary ng Panget.”

The JaDine fans have truly indulged seeing James and Nadine together again years after their breakup.
However, there is no denying that James is happily committed to Issa now.
In the same interview, the 30-year-old actor elaborates on his feelings for Issa.
James says about his relationship with Issa, “There’s no better way to say it. I’m very in love. I’m very happy. The best part about tonight is that I’m here with Issa.

He adds that Issa is like a “sunshine” to him, further explaining that “she lights up my day. She inspires me. She’s an incredibly inspiring person, she’s very strong, and I love her values in life. It’s something that I really look for in a partner.”
James and Issa’s relationship first made waves in March 2023 when they were spotted together at Harry Styles’ “Love On Tour” concert at the Philippine Arena.
