Jake Ejercito pays tribute to the grandmother of his daughter, Ellie
Jake Ejercito paid tribute to veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, who died of heart attack on Saturday, March 2.
Jake is the father of Ellie, Jaclyn’s grandchild from daughter Andi Eigenmann.

On Monday, March 4, Jake posted on his Instagram stories a photo of Jaclyn and a young Ellie with a heartbroken emoji.
Jake also visited the first night of Jaclyn’s wake with mom Laarni Enriquez and Ellie.
Today, March 5, Jake posted a lengthier message for Jaclyn where he shared how supportive she was during the early days of Jake and Andi as parents.
He wrote (published as is), “Of her many iconic roles, being a grandmother was one she cherished the most, especially to Ellie
“I surely wouldn’t have survived those early years of fatherhood without your guidance. We rolled with the punches together— anything and everything just for Ellie
“You’ve left a void in Ellie’s heart that we could only attempt to fill for the rest of our days. But I’ll give it my best shot and make sure she’ll be ok
“Maraming salamat sa lahat, tita. You were loved, specially by your Ellie.”

Jake also posted a screenshot of a Viber message he received from Jaclyn.
He did not put any context but the message showed how Jaclyn loved Jake like her son.
The message reads (published as is): “Jake na mi miss na kita n sobra. Anak Pa din ang Turing ko sayo. Sorry sa ig kailangan ko Lang mamili. Mahal kita alam mo yan.”
Andi gave birth to Ellie in 2011. She and Jake had an on-and-off relationship for four years before they ultimately called it quits in 2014.
They have since been in a co-parenting relationship.
