Kim likened her romance with Xian to a hanging telephone
Kim Chiu has given another update about her love life, but this time, her comment points to a clearer indication of a trouble in paradise with boyfriend Xian Lim.

Kim has recently appeared in her “Linlang” co-star Maricel Soriano’s YouTube vlog, wherein the 33-year-old actress will be nannied by the veteran star for a day.
In one particular part of the video, Maricel straight-up confronts Kim about the status of her love life.
She asks, “Ang dami-daming nagbubulungan, kumusta raw ang love life mo? Tinatanong nila love life mo e. Hindi naman ako makasagot, ‘day, kasi hindi naman ako ikaw.”
Kim responds, “Sinong nagtatanong sa ’yo?” to which Maricel replied, “Your fans.”
Kim then quips with, “Ang love life ko ay ano… Ang love life ko ay naka-hang ngayon.”
Maricel replies, “Parang telepono?” to which Kim passively dismisses with, “Oo, kumain na tayo, yaya.”
Is Kim Chiu and Xian Lim’s romance in rough waters?
Prior to Kim’s recent statement, the actress has already dropped hints about treading a rocky path with beau Xian.

On November 27, Kim was also interviewed by ABS-CBN News about the status of her romance. At that time, Kim was hesitant and just opted to “keep it to ourselves na muna.”

Earlier in November, Kim was also asked by a few members of the press about her love life. But back then, Kim had a different answer.
According to her, “Okay naman kami ni [Xian]. Mapanlinlang ang showbiz pero maayos naman, masaya naman po.”

KIm’s initial statements were followed by Xian Lim’s lengthy Instagram post about “plenty of hearsays” and “deceiving headlines.” In the post, Xian also begs that his loved ones be spared from all the online noise and commotion.
But just a month after that, Xian made the decision to wipe his YouTube channel clean of all the existing videos—including the ones that feature Kim.
Kim and Xian started dating in 2012. In 2018, they announced their romance to the public.
