See the veteran stars who stood out from the crowd for their classic looks
The GMA Gala is back for its second year, and it was once again a night of fashion and glamour. The biggest celebrities in the country came out to show their support for the event, and they all brought their A-game.
The theme for this year’s gala was “elegant formal,” and the stars definitely delivered. From stunning gowns to sleek suits, everyone looked their best. But there were a few stars who stood out from the crowd for their classic looks.
While all the guests looked incredibly impressive last July 22 at the Manila Marriott Hotel for the GMA Gala 2023, these veteran stars just shined the brightest with their iconic elegance.
If you’re looking for some fashion inspiration, be sure to check out the looks of these veteran stars:
Alice Dixson and Gabby Concepcion posed together on the red carpet. They previously worked with each other for the GMA-7 teleserye “First Lady,” wherein Alice and Gabby portrayed law students who had a relationship when they were still in America.
Alice wore a thigh-high slit gown designed by Marc Rancy. Her tulle ensemble was enhanced by drop earrings from Naomi Jewelry.
Sunshine Cruz wore a custom white gown by Bella Borromeo and Isabella Borromeo. She matched it with a sparkling clutch bag from Bling & Co.
Dina Bonnevie said in an interview with GMA Network, “I am completely overwhelmed, I didn’t expect such a great turnout that so many stars came down from the sky to attend this really grand event. After having come from a two-year pandemic… suddenly this is like a giant event where everyone came to just enjoy and be with each other. Thank you, GMA.”
“Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap” kontrabida Pinky Amador takes a break from her mean streak as she walks the red carpet in white.
Eula Valdes described her gown as a “bad ass ensemble” created by Job Dacon. Her makeup was done by Emman Concepcion while her hair was done by Enrico Gabato. With Eula is “Unbreak My Heart” director Manny Palo.
Albert Martinez made heads turn with his all-black suit. Viewers mourned when his character Dr. Richard Hamaguchi Smith died in “Voltes V: Legacy.”
Jackielou Blanco wore a dress from the clothing brand Rica Rico and her makeup was done by Luisa Jardinero.
“Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap” actor Leo Martinez distinguished his black suite with a shawl lapel and a classic black bowtie.
Laurice Guillen is currently part of “Unbreak My Heart,” the teleserye co-produced by ABS-CBN and GMA-7.
Samantha Lopez triumphantly waves the cape of her white gown in the air.
Ricky Davao looked dapper in his all-white suit. He is currently the director of the GMA-7 afternoon series “The Seed of Love” starring Glaiza de Castro.
Sherilyn Reyes-Tan wore a black number. She was last seen in the afternoon series “AraBella.”
