Kylie Padilla, Sanya Lopez, Glaiza De Castro Lead Stunners At GMA Gala 2023 

The “Encantadia” sisters all walked solo!

With just the decision to go on their own, these Kapuso stunners made it perfectly understandable that a woman can be just as stunning with or without a date.

This is true, especially for the “Encantadia” cast members Kylie Padilla, Sanya Lopez, and Glaiza De Castro who led all the GMA-7 beauties down GMA Gala 2023 red carpet solo. 

Held at Marriott Hotel, Pasay, on July 22, striking Kapuso stunners have graced the red carpet, donning their numbers in monochromatic, loud, and classic colors. 

Kylie Padilla has taken herself like a wind just like her character Amihan, as she walks down the red carpet in an alienesque, Encantadia-inspired gown made by designer Ehrran Montoya. 

Sanya Lopez, on the other hand, had her hair down—complementary to a golden mermaid cut created by Makati-based couturier Michael Leyva. 

As for Glaiza De Castro, she arrived in golden electric-pleated slit gown, with her hair styled like a ‘60s Hollywood queen. Wrapped around her fingers is a clutch from Crystal Minaudieres. 

Other Kapuso stunners who grace GMA Gala 2023

“Walang Matigas Na Pulis Sa Matinik Na Misis” cast Max Collins showcases a black-beaded number with straps and plunging neckline. 

Beauty Gonzalez is classic in her neat updo and a plain heart-shaped beige gown.

“Nagbabagang Luha” star Myrtle Sarrosa had her Cinderella moment in a luminous ball gown, accentuated boldly by her pink hair.

Joyce Ching walks the red carpet in a silver-encrusted gown hugged by a classic black trail.

Katrina Halili has arrived in a black length-hugging dress, and a sleek ponytail just to emphasize the high neck cut. 

Yasmien Kurdi, “The Missing Husband” actress, dignifies a short bob cut and a frizzled black-and-white number. 

“Hearts On Ice” lead star Ash Ortega walks the red carpet in a two-piece ensemble: a white top complemented by a mermaid-cut black bottom.

Beauty queen-turned-actress Roxie Smith is as regal as ever in a black ball gown and gloves. 

Faye Lorenzo has arrived in a skin-tone beaded number embellished with gems and crystals.

“AraBella” star Shayne Sava’s gown is just another attestation that black and gold go perfectly well.

Pam Prinster fuses gothic and bohemian together with this two-piece plain black number.

Green and gold are the highlights of Thea Tolentino’s gown, accentuated perfectly by a gold clutch.

“Unica Hija” star Faith Da Silva was spotted glammed up in a straight-cut, white beaded gown and a pair of Hollywood queen gloves.

“Love At First Read” star Therese Malvar screams independent in white, as she walks solo in a trailing sweetheart ivory number.

“Voltes V: Legacy” Liezel Lopez came with her date, co-star Martin del Rosario, but was photographed solo at the red carpet. She was spotted donning a pink mermaid ensemble, with hair all held back to accentuate the gown’s center cut.

Mariel Pamintuan, cast of GMA-7’s “Love At First Read” has walked the gala’s red carpet in lilac slit dress. This came as her second time attending a Kapuso gala, which follows a more controversial appearance in 2022 wherein she went viral for commenting on the event’s food servings.

“Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition” alumna Zonia Mejia chose to deviate far from her sweet demeanor, as she went for a bolder look with a bob wig. She was also seen rocking a beige feathered gown.

“Underage” actress Elijah Alejo incorporates sexy and reserved in one illusion dress that emphasizes the right amount of curves.

“Nagbabagang Luha” breakout actress Claire Castro sizzles the red carpet in silver-encrusted number and a translucent drape to pair it with.

Hailey Mendes, also a cast of GMA-7’s “Underage,” channels the Regency period with her gold-embellished ball gown and updo.

GMA-7 has held a gala night for two years now, following an equally successful debut in 2022. More than a night of fashion and celebration, the gala was held mainly as a gesture of good will  to raise funds for various charitable organizations.
