MODOK isn’t the only villain in the film, BTW.
Thanks to a new antagonist, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is shaping up to be the biggest Ant-Man film. Not only that, but it’s also set to be a pillar of the Multiverse Saga.
We don’t know much about the film yet. But we do know that Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne will battle the evil time traveler Kang the Conqueror.
But there’s more to the Ant-Man sequel than that. It will feature several potential baddies that will torment Scott Lang (Paul Rudd). These villains include everyone’s favorite, the big-headed antagonist MODOK.
At this year’s SDCC, Marvel showcased footage that teased the MCU’s version of MODOK. But they didn’t reveal his appearance at the time. Unfortunately, leaks of MODOK’s design in Ant-Man 3 merchandise spread online. @ConquerorChuck tweeted a photo of MODOK’s live-action counterpart printed on a shirt.
Here’s our first look at MODOK’s suit, which lines up with the description we got from those who attended SDCC:
GUYS I JUST FOUND LEAKED MERCH OF MODOK IN QUANTUMANIA OMG pic.twitter.com/724Alb840d— Chuck The Conqueror (@ConquerorChuck) September 12, 2022
It’s refreshing to know that we’ll be witnessing MODOK wreak havoc on the big screen soon. After all, his animated series on Hulu is no longer on the table. It is currently unknown how MODOK will fit into the plot. We also don’t know how he’s connected to Kang, but it’s safe to assume they’ll be allies.

Last weekend, Kevin Feige revealed that Ant-Man 3 will begin “a direct line” to the end of the Multiverse Saga. The events in the film will lead to the culmination of Phase 6.
