The 43-second video starts with an accident that pans to a series of haunted, dark, and eerie shots, including a body bag, a commotion, and Nadine firing up a gun.

A voiceover plays in the background, which sets the mood for the personal conflicts that Nadine’s character is set to experience.

Walang mali sa ginawa mo. Minsan, ‘pag nagkagipitan, may nagagawa ka talagang masama para sa mga taong mahal mo,” the voiceover begins.

In the latter part of the video, a relatively calm Nadine can be seen sitting while asking, “Patay na po ba siya?”

“Roadkillers” is helmed by Director Rae Red and will arrive on the streaming platform Amazon Prime Video on November 30, 2023.

Nadine is set to banner the film with critically acclaimed indie film actress Angeli Bayani.

Nadine Lustre’s recent projects

Nadine’s last acting project was the 2022 Metro Manila Film Festival top-grosser “Deleter,” a horror film which also reaped seven awards in the film fest, including Best Picture, Best Director for Mikhail Red, and Best Actress for Nadine.

Aside from “Deleter,” Nadine also headlined the Yam Laranas-helmed film “Greed” in 2022. Her important portrayal as Kichi in the film landed Nadine her second Filipino Academy For Movie Arts and Sciences award for Best Actress.

She first bagged the award in 2019 for her outstanding performance in Antoinette Jadaone’s 2018 film “Never Not Love You.”

Nadine has also finished filming her follow-up horror movie, “Nokturno,” which did not make it to the MMFF 2023 entries.

Now that Nadine is set to return to screen with yet another project, some people would think how a multi-hyphenate like her does all the taxing work.

Nadine reveals during Globe’s G Creator Con on September 19 that her secret lies in putting boundaries on the things that she does. For one, she even advises, “push yourself a lot, but don’t push yourself too much.”
